I am listing this for a friend that has lost the place to store and work on this restoration project So please ask all questions before bidding & I will get you the answers.
1968 Javelin SST 343 v8 4 barrel with an automatic transmission and dual exhaust, all original running gear, This car is in need of restoration and at this time does not run, he had new gaskets through the engine and then it was set back in place. The engine was pulled a few years ago to paint the engine compartment and then set back in. (color was sunflower yellow) The car is in red oxide primer and guide coat, most body work done on drivers side, there is a little rust repair needed on passengers rear quarter (see pix) and some body work on passengers fender / door. Again a restoration project but mostly complete and original. All the glass is good, no rust in trunk and a pix of extra parts and I believe all the trim. All the interior is there but needs redone, the door panels are in real nice shape. The grill and passengers headlight are just sitting there for the picture and are now in the trunk with all the other parts. The car also does not have a radiator and I'm sure missing some small parts so what you see is what you get (the orange strap on engine is holding exhaust up. I am trying to describe this as best as I can so if I missed something just please ask. The car has a pretty low reserve and due to him having it for sale locally I reserve the right to end the auction early but I will not end auction early if reserve is met, at that point it will go to the highest bidder. You are more then welcome to come preview the car before bidding. Again for shipping purposes The Car Does Not Run and is sold as is where is. I will assist in helping the shippers pick it up, The new buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. It has a clean California title and classic blue and yellow plates.
