AMC Other 1967 Description
The rare DPL model convertible was only manufactured in 67 and had a total production of 1260. Originally a 290. now has a 360. Most of the door/top/window seals/mouldings need to be replaced (I have purchased new ones). Some annoying electrical things. two of the toggle switches for the windows have fallen inside the door frame. Top goes up and down. Door latch on drivers side needs attention. Top has a couple of small rips near the back frame. The transmission doesn't like to shift up until the car is driven a short distance Drivers door has a slight sag so small gap when closed (see picture) Has only been on the road this year for a couple of days. I've owned for 3+ years and might of put on 200 miles. A very unique and rare car that certainly gets lots of attention when it is on the road. Car is always stored in underground parking. Just a couple of minor annoying things to do to get to a really good runner that is a joy to drive. Car is insured until June so will now try to work out some the little things. I bought the car in 2011 from the states(car spent just about all its life in the Atlanta area until a dealer in Florida got a hold of it). Did wheel cylinders/brake lines/new battery/belts. Car has never been "restored" but have every bill from 1967 on for about 40+ thousand dollars of everyday upkeep! Even have The original bill of lading. Title transfer from estate of original owner to dealer in 2008. Original 67 accessories catalog/owners manual/owner protective maintenance book/Automobile note-security agreement and 67 dealer pamphlet. Milage is exempt/shows 76. 00 but I'm sure it's more than that. Power steering pump leaks a bit. bypassed the heater as the core is no good. Trying to as honest as I can on the issues. Would love to keep the car but have two daughters that have decided to get married within a 1 year and half of each other so something has to give and unfortunately it's always the toy that has to go. You can drive the car and fun while working on the small stuff. Will ship to Canada and U. S. Have driven the car more in the last 4 days than I have in the last 3+ years without any problems.
