AMC AMX 1968 Description
This car just came from long time storage. It's been inside for 23 years and has been outside for the last 2. It's pretty clean. Just lower quarter patches and minor floor repair needed. The rockers, oors, enders, ood are straight and rust free. The trunk floor is solid. The roof and upper quarters are nice. This car according to the previous owner is a factory Go Pack car. Don't let the different color panels fool you. It's got the correct Edelbrock intake and carb. Also the correct exhaust manifolds. The correct front disc brakes. It also had the black stripes going up the center of the car. This was a silver car originally. The 390 turns over and is not frozen. It ran when parked. I bet it will run again with little effort. The 4 speed is there but the clutch pedal is soft from sitting. Factory twin grip rear. The only things the car is missing is the pass side seat and factory air cleaner. It has a set of newer bucket seats but the original drivers side is there as well. Now here is another good part. This comes with a shed full of parts. Extra fenders, oors, mint deck lid, hich I would use on the car here as the factory one has rust. Boxes of stuff. Factory AMX tachometers, ou get it all. So come with a trailer and a pick up truck. Call Johnny @ 1-914-497-811zero. No trades. Over all this is an awesome car to restore. Everything is there. I will assist in shipping but you have to arrange and pay for it. I'll lend a hand, o problem. There is a $500 non refundable deposit due at 24 hours of auction end. The rest will be paid in full when the car is picked up. It can stay where it is for 2 weeks after auction end. That should be plenty of time to arrange shipping. I encourage you to come see it and ask any questions before auction end. Feel free to use the number in the ad. No emails please. This has a NY transferable registration. No titles before 1973. Thanks again for looking.
