1959 RAMBLER AMERICAN SUPER 2 DOOR SEDAN!Absolutely A W E S O M E 57 YEAR OLD CLASSIC! This is not your typical $22,500 overpriced" showcar but definitely a 'street-grab'n attention-getter' everytime and anywhere its driven!!The ODO shows just over 80,000 original miles! The factory 195.6ci flat head 6 cylinder, L" head motor, ated at a whopping 90 hp fed by a Carter 1 barrel carb ~ was refreshed a few years ago and it RUNS LIKE A SWISS WATCH ~PERFECT!!!The FLASH-O-MATIC automatic 2 sp trans shift flawlessly, mooth and quiet. New Brakes, rake lines & shoes and it stops on a dime and gives you back 9 cents change!
This car is the 'SUPER' model (no... NOT like Victorias Secret models!)but this 'Super' model features Backup lights, actory radio and original working heater. Total instrumentation includes a large round speedo with odo, ngine temp and fuel guage. Everything works as it should with the exception of vacuum operated wipers, hich requires simply some new vacuum hose connections.The two-tone ORIGINAL UNrestored cloth and vinyl seat interior are darn near excellent...remember, his Classic Rambler American Super is pretty much an original UNrestored 57 year old 80,000 mile vehicle!!!
Recent non~factory upgrades include Freeze-You-Out Vintage Air A/C ~ and since these cars were never designed with an oil filteration system, e installed an aftermarket oil filter package which was a much needed upgrade.With newly whitewall tires, hanged hoses, erformed ignition tuneup including rebuilt carb, park plugs, oints, eat belts were installed for safety.. this car is ready for a new home! MAYBE YOURS??? This vehicle was purchased from the Estate of a very persnickety collector who applied one original color ROBINS EGG repaint years ago...and talk about RARE or possible concerns about the possibility of being one of five to show up at local car shows??...uh uh. Anit gunn happen. FERGITABOUDIT.. .. You will not see another ORIGINAL 1959 Rambler American Classic Super like this at your local car shows.... no worries. Even tho my description is honest and clear and I have 100% positive feedback, still reccommend a personal inspection and BRING YOUR MAGNET!!! You will not find one spot of FILLER anywhere!!! The brightwork is decent, hiney, ot all dinged up either. The finish does sport a few character dings and scratches here & there, ven so, t still gets an incredible amount of THUMBS UP APPROVALS everywhere we go!!
