AMX Javelin

AMC Javelin 1974 Description

This is a unrestored 1974 AMX with a 401 cubic inches automatic trans. The interior is all original and very nice. The Ac compressor is in the trunk, I don't know if it is any good. The car had factory air. The body did have 1 repain, but no rust repair that we can see. The trunk floor pan is in perfect original condition, as is the floor pan and inner fender strut towers.This was purchased in 1995 by the owner now, He bought it from a wido, The car was sitting in a garage on stand, it only shows 33,000 miles. This car has been in storage for the last 25 years. We have documentation. We have the warranty card with the original owners name listed. The car does not have a numbers matching engine. The original owners brother stopped by and gave us all the information,He and his brother ran the car and the engine gave up . But wasreplace with the correct 401AMC engine. Also has aluminum intake and a Holley and also a comp cam. The car has a nice sound when idling..Thanks for looking If you have any ? call me 309-852-3371 ask for Mick
