AMC Javelin 1972 Description

Rare 1972 AMC Javelin SST "Z code" car. 401 console automatic, tilt wheel, factory AC, factory 15" rims, factory front power disc brakes, tilt steering. Production numbers for 1972 Z code cars were around 835. This is a project car but it is one of the most structurally sound cars you will find, NO RUST! NO accident damage. The roof sheet metal was replaced at some point, I do not know why but who ever did it did it right. Quarters are excellent, floor pans are excellent (floor pans and firewall have been stripped to bare metal and primed with Eastwood black rust encapsulator primer). Trunk pans are solid. Windshield ledges, front and back, are both excellent, NO RUST. I have 95% plus of all original parts ( in good condition) to restore this car. Motor and trans are original, both will need rebuilding. Front windshield and old factory exhaust pipes seen in photos are no longeravailable.If you are looking to restore a car so that you know everything about your car, this would be the one and even more so if your looking for an AMC javelin.
I will not give the car away, If it doesn't sell I'll build the car myself. If you win the auction and come to pick the car up and the car is not what I have described nor what the pictures show I will refund your money LESS my listing fees/paypal fees, I believe that to be fair as I know how un easy it is to buy a car sight un seen. Full payment in cash(less paypal deposit) is expected when car is picked up.
