In 1969, the Ambassador received a major restyling, including a new quad headlight cluster, blacked out grille, and a forward leaning front end which gave the appearance of motion to the car, even when sitting still. The 1969 Ambassador is a smooth, powerful sedan that really does not look like anything else on the road. The ’69 Ambassador stressed luxury.
