1970 AMC Rebel SST 2HT

AMC Rebel 1970 Description

This vehicle is unaltered and all original. Bought new by Grandpa in 1970 and given to Grandma as a surprise, paid off in 1972, she used it to go to church and grocery and doctors. Upon her passing in 1985, the car was brought home by her son and transferred into his name. Used for errands till 1990, then parked. Until i brought it out of its parking spot, it had been in the same spot for the last 27 years. This vehicle needs restoration from the ground up. Needed: The engine would have to be soaked, carpet replaced (the floor pans are solid underneath the car), vinyl top gone, typical spots on the lower doors and dog legs, 2 dents on the right side that should pop out, back glass channel repair, rear lower bumper valance (body filler) dent. There are a trunk full of goodies: 4 factory slot style 14" AMC high capped mags, and 2 factory full size spares 1 high center capped, bunches of extra SST side chrome and window surround chrome, extra grille. I will not ship this vehicle, please make your own freight arrangements. ADDED:(03-20-17)While cleaning i just found an extra hood for the car. Its that same "70's green" with chrome strip on the nose and REBEL letters, nice shape. I will throw that in too.
