AMC Javelin 1972 Description

Great classic garage find, ompletely stock! Family selling this classic car as my father just passed away. Hasn’t been driven in approx. 15 years (although possibly a few times to store). Was put away in good running condition, ut placed in garage and forgotten about. May require minor repair before starting. My father was an AMC buff, nd purchased this classic 30+ years ago, nd occasionally drove to work before he retired 23 years ago. 98k miles. Seats and carpet in need of repair and small paint blemishes throughout (see pics for specific areas). If you’re looking to restore a Javelin, his is the perfect one for you. Stored in Camano Island Washington, ut house is in escrow. Prefer buyer pick-up, ut any arrangements can be made to accommodate buyer at buyer’s expense.

1972 American Motors Javelin SST 2dr Fastback 8-cyl. 360cid/220hp 4bbl. Have not confirmed the horsepower or 4bbl carb, nd we believe it has many of the “Go” package features as it has front disc brakes. Loaded with lots of features for the SST model. Little to no Rust. Originally an Arizona Car (probably purchased late 70's, arly 80's, nd moved to Washington State 23 years ago. See pic around back window for pre-rust area that could be cleaned up relatively easily. I only washed the outside myself and the car has not been detailed yet. Wanted you to see it basically as is from the garage.

We don't think it was painted as my father said it was all original, ut trying to determine. If it was, t was a long time ago.
