Buick Regal 1986 Description
This is a beautiful all original 1986 Buick Regal T-Type with the 3.8 liter turbo-charged V-6. In the mid-eighties these were the fastest production cars made. This car has the original rosewood paint (it has never been repainted). I have the build list from the factory and it has the original pin-striping as well. This car has been meticulously maintained, as all of these Buicks should be. The T-type is similar to the Grand National and GNX, the only real difference is paint color options and the lighter rims on the t-type.Members of the local Buick club said we should be able to get well over $17,000 for this car. This is being sold as part of an estate. Clean title in hand.
This car is also for sale locally.
I will not ship this vehicle, buyer may set that up if they wish. US dollars only. $500 deposit via paypal required within 24 hours, full payment by cashiers check or cash required within 7 days of purchase. As is where is, no warranty.
Thanks! Happy bidding.
To anyone that just bid on the auction that I ended early, I apologize. I was looking at the listing on myphone and saw that it showed the car being 300 miles away from where I live now. It used an old address for the listing and I didn't catch it. Fortunately I saw it less than six hours after posting.
This question came up during the listing that I had to cancel.
Q: | Any idea why the mileage seems to be all over the place on the report? | Mar-12-17 |
A: | I checked carfax, the last mileage shown on there was 22,000 in 1995. The car has 39,663 on it right now. This belonged to my father in law, he bought it in December of 2000. He owned two of these and two other vehicles that were his once a month cars (during the summer). This car has never seen rain or snow. The other T-Type that he had was driven much more because it wasn't stock. This one is stock and was more of his pride and joy. The indicated mileage is correct. This is the original engine and transmission. It is clearly a car with low miles. I'm guessing the people listing the mileage in the 90's never thought people would be able to pull vehicle reports on the internet like you can now and entered random odometer numbers. I think that's why two numbers are off in auto check. I have been told not to put too much stock into autocheck and carfax details, this is one of those examples. |
