Buick Other 1936 Description
This is a 1936 Buick Model 81 Roadmaster that has received a very high quality all original body off nut and bolt resoration. The frame was resprayed and every single mechanical part rebuilt from there up. It has a new wire harness with a push button ignition added (with the footfeed starter mechanism disabled) that was reloomed using the proper woven thread looming of the era. Thereare 6 16" detailed artillery with matching white walls on it and in the dualside-mounts.The body was prepped from perfect metalwork and resprayed in lacquer, hat is now failing in spots as shown in the pics, ut is very true and straight with the doors operating like new. All of the rubberseals, askets, eltinghas been replaced and trim replated. The interior has been redone to a very high standard with all original materials and features a "Ranger Radio" with the proper undermount antenna, elco fan, riginal owners literature, nd rebuilt sometimes operation clock. Comes with factory shop manual and all of the original correspondence on the restoration. All of the original glass lenses are in great shape, ut the drivers door window has a crack. Overall, his was a show winning absolute #1 car when it was done 20+ years ago, ut the lacquer is failing now, he tires have flatspots, nd the rare options in the interior work intermittently from infrequent use, ut still can go down the road at 60 mph easily. Inspections welcome.
