Buick Skylark 1971 Description
For sale is a 1971 Buick GS 350. The Buick Gran Sport was introduced to compete into the muscle car market of the late 1960's and early 1970's and put a new face on the Buick Brand. 1972 saw the last year for the GS and the beginning of the end for muscle cars. The 1971 GS was and is the rarest of the Gran Sport line. Now is your chance to own a freshly and correctly frame on restored GS-350. This car has no old car gunk, t is extremely fresh inside and out. It's not perfect and anyone that states their car is, ight be fibbing! I just took this car on a 75 mile cruise and it preformed flawlessly.Fire Red and maintains the factory Fire Red repaint a couple of years ago. With new period correct black vinyl seats. The Fire Red and Black combination looks amazing with the factory GS hood and factory rear Spoiler. This GS has lived in the South all of it's life and has absolutely no rust or road rash!! Options on this GS 350 include perforated vinyl seats, ower steering, actory tachometer, ower brakes, aised white letter tires and Buick Rallye wheels. The 350 Cubic Inch V8 starts with just the brief turn of the key and sounds amazing. The 4speed Transmission is tight with absolutely no issues! Factory AM radio is there, owever does not work. Odometer now reads: 37,000 I have no way to know if those miles are actual. I encourage inspections prior to bidding.
The Good:Car runs and drives perfect.Paint looks very good.Interior exceptional. (Looks New)All chrome in great condition.Wheels and Tires great shape.Clutch tight.Brand New Fuel Tank.Engine compartment looks great.
The Not So Good:No A/C.Do not know if car came with the 4 speed trans originally. Some gauges do not work.AM Radio inop.
