Up for auction is a 1972 Buick Skylark 350 4BL. This vehicle is a very good contender for a full restoration or a good base for a tribute car. There are few 1972 Skylarks available for restoration on the market that aren’t “RUST BUCKETS”. Here is a chance to bid for one that is in fair condition at a fair starting price. This Vehicle is to be sold AS IS. Let the bidding begin.

Vehicle has a clear CA title, non-operational. Vehicle is not to be driven on the street or highway until reregistered. Vehicle must be towed.

This vehicle was originally sold in Dallas Texas then driven to and sold in California, (San Fernando Valley) it has not been subjected to any “rust” producing environments. Has been sitting for 16 years.

The successfulbidder must pay a non-refundable deposit via Paypal, a deposit of $300within48 hours of the end of auction is required. Balance is due by Paypalwith 5 business days of the close of auction. Car must be picked up within 15 days of the end of auction.

Power Brakes with Front Drum and Rear Drum:


Engine:

350 4Bl., turns over, not seized, started briefly with starting fluid, but didn't stay running. No oil or other fluid leaks noted. However not guaranteed. This vehicle is NOT represented as a as a RUNNING vehicle.

Front fenders:

Excellent Front Fenders. No rust at all. Some very minor dings and surface rust.

Hood:

Is in good shape.

Radiator Support and Left Inner Fenders:

The radiator support is very solid. Inner fenders are very solid

Roof:

Had white vinyl, top has rotted, metal underneath is good and rust free.

Trunk Lid:

Very good, some dings.

Cabin Floor:

Very solid. No rust.

Trunk Floor:

Very solid no rust.

Doors:

Both of the original doors have good glass.No dents, both fully functional.

Dash:

Padded dash is cracked.

Bumpers:

They would need to be re-chromed.

Wheels and tires:

Stock steel wheels, original hubcaps in trunk and custom hubcaps included. Tires are used hold air.

Front Brakes:

The front suspension is complete has drum brakes.

Frame:

Appears to be solid.

Quarter Panels:

Slight “push in” dents otherwise good and solid, spotted one small rust spot on lower left wheel well, forward section. (See Photo)

Front Seats:

Typical cracking, splits, dirt etc. Will ultimately need to be reupholstered but could be used for now.

Rear Seats:

Fairly nice, dirt etc. Need to be reupholstered.

Door Panels:

Need to be reupholstered.

Rear Interior Panels:

Need to be reupholstered.

Grill:

Some cracking but repairable or replace.

Headlight Rims

Typical pitting of pot metal.

Windshield

Good condition, no cracks.

Tires on vehicle are used tires.

The vehicle must be picked up within 15 days unless prior arrangements are made with me PRIOR to the end of the auction. If not picked up within 15 days without prior arrangements, the $300 deposit will be forfeited and the vehicle will be resold. No exceptions no excuses.

The vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
