Buick LeSabre 1990 Description
For sale I have an original condition, unmolested 1990 Buick Estate Wagon.
This vehicle was originally purchased in late 1989 in Columbus, Ohio at a cost of $19,500.00 and has covered less than 85,000 miles. It had the Luxury option package factory installed so has the electric locks, power driver's seat, body side moldings, cassette tape player, etc etc.
Having spent most of it's life with one owner, it was used as a run around vehicle when the owner was in Columbus during the summer months only. Therefore it is in great shape underneath as it has hardly ever seen an Ohio winter.
Unfortunately, the owner's house was broken into at some point in the 1990's, and the thieves used the Wagon to haul away their stash. The Wagon was found some time later, parked up with the keys still in the ignition. As such this vehicle has a salvage title. It was then driven to Canada where the owner used it as a vehicle for his vacation home. Again, it was only used during the summer months.
This car has been looked after, and it shows. Considering it's age it has minimal defects, and for someone who has the time, I'm sure they could turn this into a show winning car. The head lining sags a bit, some of the vinyl at the back needs attention, it needs a couple of hub caps and there is a small bit of surface rust on the hood but for the most part this looks in fantastic shape. All electrics tested were working OK, and there were no errors on the dash.
The car has recently had extensive work carried out. A full Buick service in Canada, new air conditioning, and a complete restoration of the original radio. It has also had a new radiator fitted as a precaution.
I drove this car over 700 miles from where it was stored in Canada, back to here in Ohio and it made it entirely on it's own.
A summary of what has been spent on this vehicle recently are as follows:
Full Buick Service at a Canadian dealershipNew RadiatorNew A/C compressor and A/C service. A/C is Ice cold!Full professional restoration of original radio
Also, I have many service receipts, and information relating to the vehicle going back to when it was new INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE!
Please feel free to ask me any questions. I am a private seller, and this has been part of my collection of cars that I wish to downsize. Viewing is recommended prior to sale. You are bidding to buy, not to come kick tires. This car is sold “as is”, with no warranty implied
On Apr-21-16 at 19:45:06 PDT, seller added the following information:Buyers please note. The Best offer button is there for serious buyers to submit a reasonable bid. It is not there for dreamers to offer a ridiculously low amount. If you want to pay pennies, then buy a piece of junk elsewhere. This car is well worth the asking price IMHO.
