Buick Other 1951 Description

Up for auction is this survivor 1951 Buick Special 2 door sedan. A very cool car I picked up but just don't have the time for. Here is what I can say:
Engine: Original straight eight that looks like it has been rebuilt at some point. Engine runs great and starts with the gas pedal as designed. Carb was recently rebuilt. Motor doesn't smoke or overheat.
Transmission: Original and works as it should.
Rear diff and suspension: All stock and functioning properly. Front shocks have leaked down as they all do. Brakes and bearings are in great shape and car stops as it should.
Interior: Original condition with some wear and tear as expected for a car 65 years old.
Body: Pretty good shape, some soft sports here and there but nothing major. Don't think the car was originally from here but most likely brought here some time ago.
Overall this car runs and drives as expected of a 65 year old car. I think it is a great candidate for a gasser or lead sled or just drive it as it is.
