Buick Skylark 1965 Description

This car has been previously listed on Ebay. Bidding was close to my lowest price but still fell short. This is a project which has been underway for a year and 1/2. Time to move on to another project even though this on is not finished. Has 2 re-chromed bumpers, new factory full sheet metal from firewall to trunk. Has all new brakes and lines new master cylinder, new fuel tank, interior trim (missing front seat covers), Has a rebuilt motor which has matching numbers to the frame the vin and engine. The engine is an 8 Cylinder V 8 engine with new rings, bearings, 3/4 cam, gaskets, oil pump, alternator, starter, new radiator and hoses. All gauges work and 3 aux gauges added. (oi, am, temp). Last picture is plastic gauge on bearings used during engine assembly. New interior door panels, side panels, rear seat covers. (except front not included). Wiring re-done on dash and most of lights in car. I have several hundred pictures. I am included a variety of pictures for you viewing.. The body was removed from the frame and the frame sand blasted, painted with grey primer, and then painted gloss back enamel. Body was re installed with new rubber mounts and bolts. If you are seriously interested you may visit the car for a personal inspection. Have a video on how the engine was built and also on the engine running when it was first cranked up. If you want this information please contact me. Format is Dropbox. The engine oil has lead add to equal 1500 ppm of lead to provide adjustment from the 750 ppm of standard oil of today. 2 bbl carb rebuilt with new fuel pump. Have some of the rubber gaskets still in package and some "newer parts" which go with the car. There are 4 original rims which are chrome and black which did polish up very nicely. Not perfect but quite acceptable for a daily driver. All pictures with captions were done recently, so this is what the car looks like today. I bought a box of fender shims which can go with the car if you ask.
For the most recent pictures i washed and moved the car and took new pictures as the car is today. There are the 2 new door panels which are which are white and dark blue for the front doors inside, not installed yet.. See the picture of the new fuel tank and fuel sending unit. Cranked engine several days ago for a local customer and it ran well. He commented on the good condition of the dash pad which I bought for several hundred dollars . Included picture in picts. The carpet and firewall insulation/sound proofing added. Heater box removed and cleaned and primed and painted. Blower motor was working. Hinges and springs squeak when opening the hood (WD40) needed. Car will be listed on Craig's list in Atlanta with a phone number and different or additional pictures. Have pictures which I can send to you on most any topic on the car.. maybe this time the bidders will really want the car. I am using Ebay's bid filter on " Best offers" to automatically exclude those offers which i feel are too low.
