Buick Skylark 1972 Description

1972 Buick Skylark California car. Bought from the original owners who purchased new in So Cal from the dealership. It has original yellow blue plates. It has never been in an accident and had one re-paint in original green about 15 - 20 years ago. I have owned this for approx 2 years. Mileage shows 73,425 is believed to be original but cannot confirm. It drives and looks like it is. The back seat was sun bleached on the top so a new interior was installed and carpet replaced by upholstery shop. Door panels are original. When the interior was out we took the liberty of replacing the hydraulic rams. Carpet is new and NO rust when interior was out. Upholsterer guy said it looked like brand new under there. One small spot smaller than a dime from a piece of wet carpet laying inside trunk. (see pics)It has power roofpower, power windows, power and tilt steer. Master cylinder and booster replaced. New heater core installed. Original AC works. This is a factory 4 barrel car. Electric windows all work and some new seals installed around windows and door jam. The cons, tilt has a slight up down movement needs to be tightened. doesn't affect steering. Blower control wont blow out front vents but does out defrost and out bottom vent. Mechanic said maybe broken spring or vacuum issue in controls. Clock does not work. Convertible top was custom made in green, needs to be replaced available in white or black and costs approx $350 for top. Transmission has a small drip when sitting for periods, mechanic said new pan gasket is needed. Just drove it last weekend approx 2.5 hours cold AC and drove superb. The Convertible top cover needs to be replaced its hard and a little discolored from sun. Cost $120. Any further questions or pics needed let me know.
