Buick Skylark 1969 Description
Get ready to let the top down. Up for sale is my 1969 Buick Skylark Convertible. Its not a show car, but with a little work, it can be. 8cyl 350 2bbl Buick engine that runs good, blue exterior, black vinyl interior, power steering, automatic on the column, working power top ( most of these convertibles have manual tops or the tops dont work) original working buick radio with many new parts. New muffler, new radiator, new hoses & clamps, new valve cover gaskets, new voltage regulator, new alternator, new plugs, points, wires & new water pump were all installed. G78-14 bias ply tires with steel rims & original buick hubcaps. All of the chrome trim is in the trunk along with brand new ball joints & tie rod ends still in the box. All lights work as they should & all of the windows roll up and down properly. I have a clean NYS registration in my name. New York State uses transferable registrations for pre 1975 vehicles instead of titles that you can use to register in any state. I believe that all the numbers match since it appears to be the original engine & transmission & the previous owner stated that they were never changed but i cant confirm that, The back plastic window is faded from the sun & there are some rust bubbles along the trunk edge & on the body below the door where all of these buicks start to rust at. I left the chrome trim off so as the moisture would not settle there. The front grill is cracked & is being held together by rivots. It is ok for a daily driver but is not suited for that show car look. If you was to get a good body/paint guy, then you would have this car looking like a show car in no time. I use to drive it around the neighborhood & to the local car shows & it got a lot of looks. I will not ship the car but will drive it onto your trailer. There is a 100.00 non refundable fee due payable thru ebay/paypal upon the winning bid. Full payment is due within 7 days & once paid, I will give you ample time to make arrangements for pick up. Paypal or chase bank checks are the two fastest ways of payment, all others must first clear my bank before the vehicle or paperwork is released including cashiers or certified checks if not chase.
