Buick Riviera 1968 Description

1968 Buick Riviera- 44.7k Original Miles, Original Owner (titled once), original paint, original floor mats, original ignition key, original glass, original everything. - Engine big block 430 CI V8, engine bay is clean - Automatic Transmission with center console (shifts smoothly) - Beautiful bucket seats and interior - Glass is perfect and power windows operate with ease. Owner was a meticulous FAA pilot. Bought the car when he was 47 yrs old (son was 16). Some 33 yrs later, the car was passed along to his son. That son is now 65 yrs old and is ready to entrust the car to a new owner due to storage constraints of a number of his father’s vehicles (48’ Pontiac and 50’ Chevy). This particular vehicle was not driven very often as evident of the low mileage. Amazingly, the Riviera was never driven in the rain. (Paint reflects this fact since there is not a speck of rust on the car.) More amazingly, the car only spent one night outside of the garage. Most amazingly, the Buick was said to have never been driven in the dark. It wouldn’t matter, because the headlights work perfectly. They drop down and hide away like new….almost in complete synchrony. The car still retains its original T3 lights. The only work done to the car has been new mufflers (dual exhaust) and brakes approximately 4 yrs ago. The car drives as comfortable as a BMW. It glides down the road. Brakes like a new car. There is no offensive gas/exhaust smell within the car. The carpets are immaculate and mats look barely used. Issues to note: there is a small circular impression on the right side of the back bumper. This is due to the placement of a medallion (Elk’s Club medallion) that the owner was a member, which has since been removed. Besides a couple exterior markings from normal driving and age, one might get in thinking she is new. Items that come with the car: Original owner’s manual and documentation. Original (clear) title.
