Buick Riviera 1982 Description

1982 Buick Riviera Convertible: 41, 44 Original miles. The car was born in Michigan, reared in North Carolina. Buick made the base automobile, sent approximatley 1, 00 base Rivieras to a custom coach-maker to get around the then Federal moratorium on "convertibles". It has been stored in a conditioned garage under a cover it's whold life as the condition of the interior / exterior shows. Original top with glass rear window - one minor separation of the top edge stitching on the drivers side (see photo); otherwise the car is pristine. Electric antennae non-functional, original radio plays like new. The rear seat windows need some manual help on occasion, but the glass and carriers are sound. The car has power everything, as did most Rivieras. New exhaust system, fan belts, tires, and battery - otherwise as original. It has been a fun "Sunday" driver for several years for me, but it is time for someone else to enjoy putting the top down and let the wind thru your hair.
