Buick Regal 1979 Description
Up for auction is a stunning 1979 Buick Regal Lmt. This car is a survivor that is in the same condition you would have found it in 1980. Only 51,600 actual miles. This is the typical older lady car that was driven to the store, the Dr, and to church. This Regal has been kept indoors its entire life so there is no rust, none at all. The factory labels under the hood, the trunk, door jams have all been preserved and are in wonderful condition. All the chrome is just like it was in 1979, no damage, and this car has never had damage. Brand new BFG white letter tires. The A/C was updated to the R-134, other than that the car is original. The Limited had the nicer plush interior, power seat, nicer rims, and the V-8. The 4.9L V-8 was never known for its power, but the car purrs and drives as straight as an arrow. This car floats down the road smooth, the seats are very comfortable, if you take your hands off the steering wheel it will drive straight for miles. New shocks, brakes and battery. This car can be driven home no matter where your from. I have the factory window sticker, the original invoice, bill of sale, warranty papers, manuals, order card and more. This era of Regal, Monte Carlo, or Cutlass are increasing in value every year and they wont stop anytime soon making this one of the most affordable, classic car investments on the market. Hard to believe this car is nearly 40 years old. Its fun to drive, people love to stare at it, and it gets compliments each time its out. The car isn't perfect, but its very nice. There are a couple small spots on the white paint that have been touched up that are only visible from 3-4 ft away, if you get 10 ft away the car looks perfect. The drivers seat has some typical wear, not ripped, but worn, and the passenger side pillar cover is faded which can been seen in one of the photos. The vinyl top is in great condition. The car needs nothing, everything except the clock works. The car is nicer in person than it appears in the photos. Its one of those cars the longer you look at it, the more detail you observe, the more obvious it is that this car is very unique and in amazing condition. You can show it, take it to cruise night, drive it, take it out of town, or just let it sit and increase in value. This car can be seen or test driven in Lincoln Ne anytime. I can get some better photos or make a video if needed, anything I can do to help you bid with confidants knowing your bidding on one of the nicest examples of a 1979 as you will find. This car has not been restored to be nice, or look good, this car has survived being well cared for and loved. This is a special car, I am hoping it goes to a good home. Please call or text with questions four zero 2, four one 6 - zero zero zero 5. BTW... Please do not call and ask what the reserve price is, that is not fare to other bidders. The car is for sale locally so I am getting offers, first one I think is close to market value I will sell the car. I am open to trades.
