Buick Century 1955 Description
This car is NOT a Buick Century, t's a Buick Special. The ad set-up made me chose a model and Special wasn't an option. Sorry for any confusion. If you Google search the vin below you'll see an ad where it's advertised as a Riviera,Whoever placed that ad must have had the same problem. I took a screenshot and added a new picture to show the problem I had picking the right model. Special and Super are not on the list...but Skylark is...oh well..Well cared for and gorgeous real 50's survivor. Not just prettied up for this auction. This Buick is fun to drive and bring to car shows. Draws lots of attention and questions. Strangers at red lights will start speaking to you. The engine and trunk compartments are detailed and painted. New battery and ignition points. Displays very well at car shows. Two-toned interior, ay/night mirror, ack-up lights. Standard steering and brakes.Traffic Light Viewer Airway Compass Windshield Washer (non-functional) This Buick has a very nice body and under-carriage.Upgraded radio with old school look and iPod input. Original radio is in the trunk. Coker WWW tires. The paint is still glossy and attractive even from a reasonable distance. Chrome and is also better than average, owever, howing it's age in some areas more than others. The interior displays very well. The dash is very good and the windows all roll up and down as they should. Again, ou can expect some flaws around the car, ut it is a pretty one nonetheless! Please see all of the photos displayed! The Nailhead V8 idles very well, akes great power, nd still has the functional gas pedal start. Wouldn't take much for this to be an award winner and you can drive it while restoring it or just drive it for the fun of it from day one. Will get you lots of attention, uestions, nd thumbs-up signs. I bought this to drive on weekends but reluctantly health problems are forcing me to sell it. Google search the VIN: 4B6023172 and you'll see that this car was sold 10/10/11 for $22,950...I bought it from the guy who paid $22,950. He was getting divorced and had to sell some of his toys. The pictures speak for themselves.Thank you for looking.
