Buick Riviera 1964 Description

An American original!! This 1964 Buick Riviera is original in every respect and, ther than paint, ndis in very good condition.

I purchased the car about 25 years ago and it has been stored every winter since. I was struck by its originality, o have attempted to keep the car in that condition. Several mechanical repairs have been made, ncluding new alternator, uel pump, xhaust system, arburetor rebuild, adiator, tc., ut very little cosmetic work has been required. The upholstery and carpets are original, nd other than a couple of minor splits in the seams of the vinyl, re in very good condition for a 51 year old car.

There is some body damage on the left rear of the car(see Pics.) and it could use a paint job.

The numbers matching engine is a 425 cu. in., 40 h.p. nail head V8 and runs strongly. The transmission is a three speed automatic and shifts smoothly. Suspension is in good condition, nd the car drives beautifully. Options include power windows, ower drivers seat, djustable steering column and air conditioning (currently not working). The odometer reads 79,000 miles, nd although I have no way of verifying that number,seems reasonable considering the condition of the brake pedal, tc.

Car is located 10 miles from Bangor International Airport. I can pick you up and take you back to the airport if you would like to test drive.

The car is a real head-turner and will make a great investment for the next owner. The only reason I'm selling it is the need for space in ourgarage as winter is coming.
