The motor works but is disconnected because the retracting cord has broken so it just runs continuously if left plugged in. A relatively easy fix if desired. The clock works intermittently but I do have a working NOS replacement that goes with the sale. It is super clean from top to bottom and has been professionally maintained. both mechanically and cosmetically. Again. always a southern California car and has absolutely no rust or corrosion of any kind. Mechanical: Runs and drives perfectly having been driven regularly but sparingly. It is completely serviced and road worthy. Everything needed to bring this car up to its mechanical peak has been done including. but not limited to: New radial tires in the correct factory size (P195/75R14) and whitewall width. Oil and transmission fluid and filter change. new battery. muffler. Shocks (originals retained if you want them). alignment. brake pads inspected. radiator flush. all fluids checked and topped off as needed. A/C charged with R-12 (Blows ICE COLD!). the chassis and hinges were freshly lubricated. and the lamps. warning lights and interior illumination tested - All are bright and work perfectly. The undercarriage remains remarkably clean down to the creases and crevices due to never being driven in winter conditions. Included with the car are a complete set of original books and records. 4 sets of keys. manuals . original showroom brochure. and exterior color pamphlet. Exterior: The paint is 100% original and in excellent condition. In fact. it’s incredibly smooth and clean & shines brilliantly having been detailed on a frequent and regular schedule. No dents. dings or scratches to speak of. There are a handful of minor nicks or chips. etc. but far less than one would expect of a vehicle 32 years old (all issues can be seen in the pictures). Nothing has been covered or touched-up. All of the body panels line up as nicely as ‘80’s GM products ever did. This car has never been involved in a collision of any kind. Glass and weather-stripping is factory fresh all around. The Briar Brown vinyl top is still soft and supple. The chrome is excellent with just the slightest bit of patina peeking thru. All lenses are as new. Still proudly wearing its originally issued California Blue Plates! The gentle care and light use it was given is evident. Interior: The interior is very crisp and new-looking. It even still smells new having never been exposed to smoke. food. children. or pets. Immaculate. clean cloth seats. steering wheel. and shift knob that show extremely little wear. The dashboard is smooth. clean. and entirely without fading. The switches and controls were used with gentle touch. Headliner is perfect. Carpet is fresh and clean all around. and the visors tight and intact. The rear seats have been virtually un-touched since new. Factory floor mats are in like-new condition. The unused original spare and jacking tools are still in place.
