The 1954 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was for sale in the early 50's when Cadillac had just recently surpassed Packard as being the premiere luxury car builder in North America, roducing some incredible cars and what would become famous styling features. For 1954 Cadillac unveiled 2nd year flagship model Eldorado with incredible features and styling, rom wrap around windshields to the early days of the finned 50's, full complement of power features such as power seats, indows, onvertible tops and signal seeking radios and 331 cu in engines. The popularity of this model only grew as years went on. This is one of only 2,150 produced for this model year. All the brilliant styling characteristics of the 50's can be found starting with the re chromed front and rear bumpers with the exhaust exiting through the dual rear outlets.Fender skirts, utronic-Eye, ower windows, ower seats, ower steering, ower brakes with chrome wire wheels and wide white wall tires. Mechanically this car features the 331 cu in, 8 engine andHydra Matictransmission, ll matching. When new these cars were a true sign of class and social significance, o this day they have an incredible presence which is impossible to ignore. This car represents a great opportunity to obtain a rare example of a desirable model . Great for the enthusiast looking to finish the restoration and save lots of $$$$$ for the collector searching for an example of 50's ingenuity and styling! The car has been painted in Apollo Gold with a beautiful deep clear finish. The frame was sand blasted and powdercoated satin black, long with all A-arms, prings (front and rear). Complete new exhaust system was installed with mufflers and resonators. New brake shoes, heel cylinders, aster cylinder and spring kits were installed, led and adjusted for perfect stopping. Original radiator was completely rebuilt and added extra rows for maximum cooling. You want to be cool and so does your car. All 5 original wire wheels were taken apart and rechromed, eassembled and trued for a smooth ride. Installed brand new Coker wide whitewall tires. Car comes with the original 3 piece Parade hard boot, luminum floor mats and the original clock was completely rebuilt. The underside of the hood has been painted to the original gloss black, olor sanded and rubbed out, hen vinyl engine hood insulation was installed as it was in 1954. All gold was replaced, s was the chrome, ven the convertible top bows and arms were taken apart chromed and reriveted. I have all original interior which is still intact, o you could use it to get correct 1954 patterns. The gas tank has been restored, ncluding a new sending unit. TOO MUCH MORE TO LIST!!!
