Cadillac Eldorado 1976 Description

Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, n sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, n order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree

V8 engine with a stated and obvious but undocumented 15K original miles; the original owner's manual and maintenance/warranty booklets and original factory options including power soft top, utomatic climate control, oft ray glass, teel belted radial white wall tires, power door locks, eather upholstery, way driver power seat adjuster, high energy ignition, igital clock, uto level control, automatic transmission, ower steering, ower windows, ual power brakes, wheel disc brakes and factory installed options including tilt and telescope steering wheel, emote control trunk lock, carpeted floor mats, twilight sentinel, ear window defogger, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirror, lluminated entry system, automatic door locks, riginal AM/FM radio with a power antenna and factory parade boot!
This particular example was recently purchased from the renown 'Sterling McCall Cadillac Museum' of Warrenton, X and has obviously always been pampered since new. It is in absolutely pristine condition throughout with only 15K original miles as confirmed by the museum. Obviously an always garaged car without any accident damage or rust whatsoever! The whole car is completely rust, ccident and damage free - the car is very striking in its original and rare special factory option 'Amberlite Firemist Metallic' color paint with a gorgeous contrasting original 'Antique Light Buckskin' leather color keyed interior with matching carpeting and a beautiful condition matching color tan color soft top with a glass rear window of this last and most desirable year of this legendary classic Cadillac.
The car is superbly striking in this very lovely color combination and was reportedly a personal favorite of the founder of the 'Sterling McCall Cadillac Museum', terling B. McCall himself. Mr McCall, ho passed away in late 2013, as an avid car collector and renown for his rare collection of vintage Cadillac's. He was a long time Houston, X resident who founded the first Toyota dealership in Texas in 1969, hich grew into one of the largest and most respected Toyota/Lexus franchise dealerships in the USA. He later founded 'Group 1 Automotive', n international automobile retail and public listed company. Upon his retirement he concentrated on the museum he had founded in 1979, he 'Sterling McCall Old Car Museum' in Warrenton, X which housed a variety of cars from the early 1900's through the 1970's, ut Mr McCall was especially renown for his large collection of Cadillac's, hich he acquired over the years through a number of sources, ncluding trade in's for new Toyota's and Lexus's at his dealerships. In 2007 the museum decided to concentrate solely on Mr McCall's passion for Cadillac's and sold off at auction most of its other marques, ncluding Dusenbergs, ierce Arrows, nd Crosleys. The museum then morphed into the 'Sterling McCall Cadillac Museum'. As Mr McCall stated himself; "Cadillac's were recognized as the world standard for years. There was no finer automobile made anywhere in the world. I've been fascinated by this car's history and decided in 2007 to change the focus of the museum to showcase this vehicle's journey in the American automotive industry." This particular 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was the museum's best example of the last year of this legendary model!
The original engine with only 15K original miles is extremely strong and powerful and obviously this particular car drives absolutely magnificently and must be driven to be appreciated and seen to be believed - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable car that must drive almost exactly as when it left the showroom floor over forty years ago and which needs nothing but a new proud owner! The interior is virtually flawless as is the exterior. This particular example has obviously always been pampered since new with its original factory 'Amberlite Firethorn Metallic' (color code 91) color paint with a gorgeous and original matching 'Antique Light Buckskin' (Trim Code 642) Sierra Grain leather interior with a matching dashboard and carpeting and a matching 'Light Buckskin' (Color Code 64R) power soft top with a glass rear window in beautiful as new condition. Cadillac introduced a new softer, uppler and 'shirred' 'Sierra Grain' leather interior in 1975 with the shirring technique gathering material into rows which creates wrinkles and folds that essentially have invisible seams. The leather for 1975/6 is noticeably thinner and softer when compared to earlier Cadillac leathers however, hen properly cared for, t retains its softness and flexibility and is known to wear better than other leathers. This is the last and most desirable year of this legendary classic Cadillac.
This is a rare opportunity to own a very fine and obviously completely unabused example of an always garaged 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with only 15K original miles, n this rare factory special option and striking color combination! This is also the most desirable last year of production of this decades last mass produced drop-top; a great investment that's sure to appreciate over the years for any American classic car collector of obviously any Cadillac enthusiast!
