Cadillac Series 62 1951 Description

Up for auction is a 1951 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe in great condition. Car has been taken apart by the previous owner for restoration, but never got put back together. I purchased the car as is and as far as I can tell, most of the parts are there to put it back together and there are many extra parts. There is no engine block, but I do have the internals, heads, 2 and 4 barrel intake manifolds, rockers, etc. No transmission but do have the driveshaft. Car is rolling on 4 brand new tires ALTHOUGH, the wide white walls are some type of extra piece added on top of the tires and are coming off, but tires themselves are excellent. Fenders, hood and grill are just hung in place for the pictures, they are not bolted on. There is no windshield, it was broken when it was removed but the rear glass is perfect. Side windows have some cracks but all trim appears to be there. trunk is solid, only real rust has been cut out of floor behind front seat. some rust remains in the braces as seen in the pictures and a few small spots throughout the floor. Rest of car is pretty solid, there is a small rust hole on the under side of the driver door, you can see it if you look straight down through the door. there are a couple signs of very minor bondo on driver door and rear quarter near tail light. Interior seats and door panels are there but need to be redone. I do have the headliner bows. Have dash, upper door metal pieces, steering column, extra gauge clusters. Car was originally Blue with Grey interior. Current paint is rattle can primer black. Appears to have all chrome and stainless trim and many extra pieces. Several tail lights and housings. I have boxes of parts, new door handles, heater core. Brakes were supposed to be new right before I purchased it. Also has new wiring harness. I don't know if there are any other small parts that are missing, but like I say, most of it appears to be there. I had one of these before and was planning on building another but a different project came up and I would like to go that direction. Please email with any questions. I have a clear Texas title in my name. Car is located in Union Valley, Texas. Thanks for looking. If paying by cashiers check, car will not be released till payment has cleared my bank.
