Cadillac Fleetwood 1965 Description
Up for sale at NO RESERVE. 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60. This car has been nicely restored. All the body work has been done and the paint job is about 2 months old. The rust was cut out and new sheet metal was welded in. The motor was rebuilt and has about 6,000 miles on it now. There is newer carpet installed over Dynomat sound insulation so the car rides real quiet with almost no vibration. The 429CI (7.0L) Big Block sounds fantastic with new Exhaust from the manifolds all the way back. There are dual Flowmaster 40 series mufflers for a nice aggressive sound but not obnoxious. There are new fitted 2 piece seat covers on the front and back that match perfectly with the rest of the interior. The dash is perfect with no cracks and all the gauges work. The suspension has all been redone with new shocks in all 4 corners. The rear Air Ride shocks have an air fitting in the rear frame rail for easy adjustment of ride height and ride quality. The drums have all been rebuilt and a new booster installed. Also a new stereo has been put in the glove box (Pioneer Receiver with Bluetooth and Ipod adapter) and 2 Kicker 6x9 speakers in the rear package tray.
Options include:
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Power Windows (yes factor power windows in a 50yr old car)
Automatic headlights with adjustable timer
Power front seat (yes it works)
Factory AM radio (not hooked up but it still in the car for that factory look)
Collector Car Plates (Washington residents only have to pay registration once)
This has been a fantastic project and one that I have enjoyed doing. This probably my 10th project car that I have done and one of my favorites. My family has grown and I am active duty military so moving it across the country is hard but not impossible. I would like to sell this and get into another project when I get to my next duty station. The car is listed for sale locally and I as the seller have the right to end the auction at any time. Winning bidder must make a $500 deposit within 24hrs of auction close and full payment within 3 days of auction close. Buyer is responsible for pick up in person or to make suitable shipping arrangements. I have tried to cover as much as possible about the car in this ad. Please email me any questions you may have about the car and I will get back to you ASAP. Thank for looking.
