Cadillac Other 1960 Description

This beautiful 1960 Cadillac was purchased new at Southern Arizona Auto Company by a lady in a small southern Arizona town on Feb. 13 1960. 55 years later we backed the car out of her garage and brought it to our shop in Phoenix. Her husband changed Cadillac every 10 years or so but she kept her car until she passed away.

This car is in amazing mostly original condition. It runs and drives as good as it looks. The paint is still at least 95% original. No rust ever anywhere! The original owner's son said he had never seen it dirty and it was never stored outside at night.

The interior is very nice. The seat covers were redone in the original style by the original owner and look great. The door panels are original and nice.

The dash pad has a couple cracks in it as most of these do. The carpet and heel pad in the front are original. The carpet in the rear has been redone. All the glass is good.

Check out the original grey rim in my pictures it looks like it was recently painted but it is original since 1960 I did not even clean the rim before taking the picture. She kept the car immaculate from day one and 55 years later it is still in fantastic original condition!

The original signal-seeking radio works great as does the power antenna! The power windows work well on each door.

The Coker wide whitewall tires are brand new.

The Cadillac runs and drives fantastic and the engine runs great with no smoke or odd noises. The transmission shifts smoothly. It has a brand new dual exhaust installed. It can be used and driven exactly the way it is.

The chrome is all original and is probably as nice as original 1960 chrome gets! Fantastic pot metal and stainless. A few scratches in the front bumper chrome on the side. The stainless side trim spears are excellent.

The paint is mostly original and still very shiny but is thin in a few spots. Very nice overall. There are a few scratches and small dings that one would expect from an original car.

This is a super dry Arizona car and has never had rust anywhere! No rust in the floors quarters doors rocker panels trunk floor etc!

The trunk interior is all original and probably one of the nicest original trunks I have seen!We pulled up the trunk mat and the trunk floor looks like it is brand new see picture.

Overall this is one of the nicest original 1960's available and I doubt you’ll ever find another one in this great original condition.

Needs nothing to be enjoyed and could be shown proudly just as you see it.
