1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville

Original Powerful Elegant Highly Optioned Classic American Luxury...

The name Cadillac has always been synonymous for Elegance Luxury and Power.
These virtues are evident in this very original 1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

MECHANICAL:

She retains her original drivetrain that consists of a 365cu.in. 300hp V8 mated to a 4- speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
Her rear differential has Hypoid gears and semi-floating rear axles (3.07:1 ratio) with a Hotchkiss Drive.
No mater the gear ratio the '57 Cadillac differential is very durable and long-lasting; only rarely do they need to be rebuilt.

She came standard with Power Steering Power Assist Brakes and Dual Exhaust.
She has a new SPAL electric fan to keep her cool in traffic and a New Vintage Air System to help you keep your cool in traffic.

EXTERIOR:

This elegant black Cadillac presents sleekness in every line.
The flush joining of her rear deck and quarter panels and the slanting roof pillars add to her road-hugging appearance.
Swift fender lines sweep back from extended cadet headlamp bezels to culminate in the famous Cadillac chrome capped rear fender fins.
Chrome-framed wheel openings stone shields and extended contour lines in both front and rear fenders enhance her long low look.

The front-end styling of this Coupe de Ville is in perfect complement with the low over- all height of the car itself.
Notice how the low hood and massive bumper bar with gull-wing bumper guards draw eye- attention closer to the road.

Her side view presents lines of fleetness and beauty with Panoramic front and rear windows tapering gracefully around the cabin and fender fairings that flow back to dual taillight and directional signal light assemblies.

Additional notes of rear-end styling are the upright oval-shaped exhaust outlets in the rear bumper and twin circular lamps on each chrome edged rear fender.
The outer lamp housing contains the tail- stop- and turn-signal lights.
The inner lamp housing contains the back-up lights.

INTERIOR:

Cadillac Quality is displayed beautifully in her Impeccably Tailored Luxurious Original interior.
Her Black Corinthian pattern metallic nylon fabric and Supple Genuine Mountain Laurel Leather Upholstery Deep Pile Black Carpeting and Gleaming Aluminum Trim were creatively styled for a fabulous flair of richness and outstanding durability.
Her door panel styling features harmonizing upholstery fabric surrounding a pleated and smooth leather and chrome-trimmed panel containing a large functional armrest and a stylized "V" and Crest.
A bright chrome kick strip across the bottom of the door provides gleaming highlights of protective beauty while the upper section of the door panel is finished in beautiful fine-grained Elascofab over a band of light-toned painted metal.

Her original bright and brushed chrome hardware shows beautifully while Chromed roof bows enhance the beauty of the light-toned perforated Elascofab headlining.

Her instrument cluster is positioned for quick easy reading.
The smooth sleek over-all design of the instrument panel incorporates a Speedometer Odometer Trip meter Water Temperature and Fuel gauges.
She has warning lights for her Oil Pressure and Generator.

Centered above the steering column is her Transmission Gear indicator.
Notice the Horizontal Arrow under the "DR" which indicates her 2 Drive Ranges for "City" and "Country" driving.

All of her controls are located for greater driver convenience.
