Cadillac Brougham 1993 Description

This 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham was originally owned by (ED) McMahon Communications of Beverly Hills California. The radiator was replaced May 3, 011 at 89,939 miles and the car was well maintained with all of the service records of the second owner (my father). Over the past few years, he car was driven periodically to keep up the smog requirements and maintain the charging of the battery. I just installed a new Interstate battery. There are two sets of the original ignition and door keys (one set is gold) and also two original remote FOBs, he two stage locking and trunk controls work. The Landau top is in very good condition as the car was always garaged. The paint appears original, ith light surface scratches to the paint and one deep small scratch that is deep in the paint above the trunk lock area. The upholstery looks original; although the story goes that the drivers’ seat was replaced under warranty due to the fact the driver was a rather large man that broke down the original seat. The Alpine model 9530 analog cell phones; one for the driver and one for the passenger, ight up and beep when the ignition is turned on. The car starts, uns, hifts and drives like the large luxury rear wheel drive car that it is. There is a minor oil leak that does not drip at the bell housing and the hoses appear to be original. Passed the most recent smog test with no problems or issues, he car is currently registered in California until 1/16/2016.

My father was part Chickasaw Indian born in Stigler Oklahoma and he would buy a large car every so often to impress his friends and family when he would drive back to his home town.

This was his last car.

The following is a copy of an email sent to my mother by her friend relating to the conversation with Ed McMahon about the Cadillac dated August 20 2002: “We met Ed MacMaho, n person! We were at the Black Hawk car museum and he and his wife were there. He looks pretty good for 79 and his wife was at least 35! I got his autograph, icture and they even go in our car, ig Red, nd I got that picture too. I told him that we knew the people that bought his Cadillac Brougham, am and Helen in Southern California. He was tickled to know that. He said that never happened before, inding out who had his car. He was a doll to me, ave me a big hug. What fun!”
