Drive Train - The engine, ransmission and differential are running excellently in the vehicle. It appears that the engine was rebuilt at some point in time, ut the engine bay looks very original and accurately restored. The engine ran and idled beautifully. The transmission shifted from gear to gear with no issues. The differential was dry indicating the seals were still in good condition.
Body & Paint - The body is straight and still has its original lines and contours. Overall, he paint and body presents itself very nicely. It was repainted at one point in time from Glade Green to its current Red color. There is still a good amount of luster to the paint finish. There are a couple of areas behind the convertible top where the paint has etched up a bit (see photos). The side panels are very straight. There are minimal areas of body work (bondo) used throughout the car indicating that the original panels were in good, ust free condition prior to its restoration.
Frame & Undercarriage -- The frame & undercarriage are very clean. Only a slight amount of normal surface rust is present in some areas. All body amount areas are solid and secure. No signs of cracking or abnormal fatigue anywhere.
Exterior Trim - The glass is all intact with no signs of fatigue or cracking. The stainless trim is in very good condition. It is straight and polished to its near original finish. The chrome bumpers are in good condition with no dents or major blemishes. Slight signs of surface pitting were easily removed with fine steel wool. The weather-stripping is still in very good condition. The window weather-stripping is still soft and pliable. The power vinyl convertible top is working and in good condition. The wheels and hubcaps are original and in good condition. The tires have been replaced with radial type design with is better for handling.
Interior Trim -- Overall, he interior presents itself very nicely. The seats and doors panels are in very good condition with only minor wear. Carpeting is in very good condition. All chrome interior pieces are in good condition. Some instrument panel pieces had some slight pitting. The instrument gauges are clear with gauge numbers and coloring still in very good condition.
Electrical/Mechanical -- All lights and turn signals operate as they should. All gauges seem to be operating within their range. The radio is still functioning. The heater controls do not appear to be working. The power antenna was not functioning.
Suspension & Exhaust -- Overall, he suspension is in a nice Driver's Condition. It has normal wear and appearance. It obviously was restored upon the full restoration of this vehicle, henever that occurred. Most suspension rubbers and ball joints were intact and in good shape. Shock absorbers and coils were intact and without cracks or leaks. The exhaust was also intact and without leaks. The mufflers have been replaced at some point and function properly.
Trunk Area - The trunk area was clean and seemed to be in very original condition.
