Cadillac DeVille 1955 Description
Own a piece of Rock n' Roll HistoryRosner MotorSports is delighted to offer this outstanding, one-of-a-kind 1955 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe. Our Caddy Coupe is the perfect example of a tastefully done, 50's era mild custom. Finished in Robins Egg Blue over a tuck and roll Beach Sand White interior, this car is simply stunning. Period correct painted pin striping subtly accentuates the dramatic styling of this work of art. What really sets the car off is the Meteor Silver Metalflake roof. Period correct and out of this world!Under the hood is the original 331 cubic inch Cadillac V8 and the original automatic transmission. The car has been slightly lowered and features Cadillac wide whites and 57 Cadillac Sombrero wheel covers. The trunk is fitted with matching tuck and roll trim panels along with a custom spare tire cover and jack holder. This fabulous 55 Cadillac was previously owned by Jerry Naylor who became the lead singer for Buddy Holly & The Crickets after Buddy's tragic death. This was Jerry's dream car designed to his taste. The beautiful customization was done decades ago and it has been in a museum for years. It was part of a collection of cars that belonged to famous rock n roll singers. The car comes with complete documentation and lots of memorabilia including Crickets records. For additional information, please contact Bob Reilly at Rosner MotorSports.
