Cadillac Fleetwood 1955 Description

Very rare and hard to find project - 1955 Cadillac Series 75 Imperial Limousine 7533 with 7523 parts car, both have AC. I purchased this last year with the intent to restore, but realize it is more than I can handle right now. Complete and very original, this car was purchased from the second owner, who owned it since 1967. He bought it with a blown motor, and install a 1950 331, which is what's in it now. It runs and moves, but needs more to be drivable. I had the carb rebuilt,$275, the radiator restored $600, and replaced the plugs and wires as well as the cap and rotor. New Interstate battery and positive cable. New belts and hoses. It is running off a gas can. It has rust in the lower fenders, rockers and lower quarters. The battery tray is rusted. I bought a replacement tray, but the lower inner fender needs repair before it can be installed. Floors are solid, except for a small hole in the front corner of the drivers front floor. Trunk floor and support rusty, but complete repair kit available for this area. Interior complete and original. Has glass divider window. Drivers compartment is black leather, and usable as is. The rear is tan cloth and is musty with moth holes. Door panels are usable. Windshield and 2 side windows cracked, but parts car has good glass and windshield, and it is correct date stamped E Z Eye Glass. Parts car is a complete but very rusty Series 75 Sedan, not a divider window limousine. It has a correct 5575 331 Engine. It is complete but hasn't run in over 30 years. Lots of good trim and other parts. Also has a clean title from 1967. Both cars are sold as is, where is, as projects. They are stored in a building with easy access for trailer or rollback. $500 Deposit due within 3 days.
