Cadillac Eldorado 1992 Description

Up for sale is our 1992 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe. We inherited this car from my wife's Uncle 5 months ago. He was the original owner and it was always garage kept. They drove it from Kalamazoo, Michigan to Naples, FL every winter since 1995. It had been sitting for 9 months prior to our ownership, so we did everything to make it a reliable daily driver. We would love to keep it but we have too many cars and I am running out of room. This car means alot to us and we want it to go to a good home where it will be appreciated and used. It is black on black, the best color for Cadillacs!
It has 91,000 original miles. That is only 3,600 miles per year!
We have all the original owners manuals, shop manual, 3 sets of keys including the gold keys, 2 keyless entry remotes, and plenty of service records.
It has a clear title.
This was the only year for the Touring coupe Eldorado in this body style with the very reliable 4.9 liter 8 cylinder motor. This is far more reliable than the Northstar that replaced it.
This car is equipped with the Touring suspension, heated seats, 6 stage lumbar/power seats, power moonroof, chrome wheels, automatic climate control, and automatic headlights/fog lights. It was the top of the line back in 1992.
Here is a list of the most recent maintenance that has been performed under our ownership:
1) Four new Goodyear tires
2) All new brake calipers, rotors, and pads
3) Oil & filter change
4) Fuel Filter
5) Air Filter
6) Motor Mounts
7) Sway Bar end links
8) New Battery
9) New radiator and thermostat
10) New valve cover gaskets
11) New spark plugs, wires, and distrbutor cap + rotor
12) New A/C compressor + condensor converted to R134
13) New driver's side window regulator and motor14) Rebuilt front electronic struts
This was all done to bring the Eldorado back to perfect running condition. We were going to give it to my Father-in-law to drive as his second car, but he did not want another vehicle. We have 5 vehicles currently and cannot keep the Eldorado... our loss is your gain.
Everything works on this car! The new A/C is ice cold. The power windows, door locks, seats, lights, etc all work perfectly. The power antenna, radio, keyless entry, and power trunk pull down all work 100%.
The paint is in good shape and the interior is even better. You will not believe this is a 25 year old car when you see it.
It runs very smooth and the engine is powerful. Transmission shifts well. Front and rear electronic / air suspension works great. It is getting 18 mpg in the city.
We are asking $5,500 or best reasonable offer for the Eldorado. I have well over $6,000 invested in it to make it a reliable daily driver. We get compliments everytime we drive it.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
