Cadillac DeVille 1966 Description

I am selling my 1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. It's a great turn-key, running and driving car with all the right options and paperwork to go along with it. It is a 3 owner car with the original owners manual, accessory booklet, and owner protection plan - also known as the Protect-O-Plate. It starts right up, idles like a sewing machine, runs strong, and drives/stops like a Cadillac should! Stays cool, even in hot weather. Drive it to California tomorrow! Power steering turns with one finger, power brakes take the boat to a halt, all the power windows work great, as does the power convertible top, AM/FM radio and its mono rear speaker work great (and yes, the power antenna goes up and down too), along with all the head & brake lights, turn signals (yes, even the indicators on top of the fenders work), all the door and trunk locks, etc.... you get the idea. The factory AC system is totally complete but has no belt so I've never had that working (no need with the top down). The body is nice and straight, everything aligns, opens/closes nicely although the paint does show some age/dryness/dulling mostly from the sun. There is a bubble on the front fender, as well as a few nicks/chips/imperfections here and there from age and use over the years. The red interior was recently redone and is in great shape with no rips or tears or any real wear even. All the seats, door panels, carpet, even the floor mats and the convertible top boot are like new. The white convertible top has a glass back window and is newer as well and looks great. The trunk looks good and is complete with spare tire, bumper jack, and all the correct lining/trim. The chrome and brightwork are in good shape as well, as are the wire wheels and white wall tires - they really finish off the look and make the car stand out. It is not a museum or show car by any means, but a great car to turn the key, drop the top and enjoy the weather in.
