This 1947 Cadillac Sedanette is an eye catcher. we get lots of " Thumbs Up" from other motorists and people even stop us wondering what year and make the caddie is. They have never seen one like it. This is an easy car to really enoy. combining the romance of the nostalgic Cadillac with an Updated Performance driveline. Open the hood and you will find a Big Block 472 cubic inch Cadillac engine with a Camero front clip with power disc brakes and power steering. The engine is coupled to a GM 200R4 automatic transmission that allows for cruising at a low RPM via the 3 speed overdrive. A Ford 9 inch differential with drum brakes makes the drive train suitable for the heaver Cad frame and weight. Summer heat is no problem with the Air Conditioner that blows cold and it has the original heaters under the seat to keep you warm and toastie for winter driving. The Cadillac Sedanette is an effortless cruiser at modern highway speeds. When you open the Sedanette's doors you will find a comfortable custom complete interior designed by Greg's Upholstery done in Ultraleather. He stitched up the original seats frames. door panels and headliner in the "Doe" ( Off White ) Ultraleather to make a clean nostalgic custom interior. This car is quite old and rare. (almost as old as me) so there are always things to tinker with and/or improve if you are so inclined. I have described the car as best as I can. Earlier this year I had the Caddie listed on e-bay. but my reserve was not met. I have re -listed the Cadillac with a reduced "buy it now price" and have also lowered the reserve.
