Cadillac Seville 1988 Description
True survivor. An average of a little more than 2000 miles per year. Excellent condition. Always garage kept never smoked in. Brakes are good. Tires are decent. A few issues but nothing that affects the way the car drives or operates. Please see above for a short list. ( While typing my description I accidentally erased the whole thing). I will redo it as soon as I can. In the meantime email with any questions.

Hello folks! You are looking at a true survivor. My 91 year old grandmother bought this car off the showroom floor. The added gold package and continental kit made this a classy car for a classy lady! This car is nothing short of a true classic. The car has been garaged its entire life. With 57700 true miles this equates to around 2100 miles per year! Starting with the exterior: I cannot find ANY rust on this car. I have looked everywhere and see nothing! The paint is still shiny with a nice pearl that pops in the sun. Paint is still smooth with no areas of clear coat coming off. There are some small scratches here and there some of which I was able to buff out. Canvas top still retains its integrity with no rips tears or holes. All of the snaps and trim on the outside of it are in great shape. Front windshield has a nickel size crack that has been filled with the proper resin to ensure no more cracking from that spot. It isn’t noticeable to me when deriving. All other glass is perfect. All locks latches and handles are in great shape and work as they should. All lenses are intact with no cracks or clouding. All the lights work and I believe all bulbs are good. (I will double check). There are a couple of small dings that are very small and hardly noticeable. All the molding is in great shape not bent or coming off. Some of the gold plating has tarnished a bit. If I have time I will try to shine that up as best I can. It is easily manageable. The emblems are all there and have no broken pieces and arte not coming off anywhere. The pieces under the headlights fell off at some point while driving. These were plastic and painted body color. It appears as if the mounting brackets are still intact. The underside is not typical of an Ohio car. Due to it being driven sparingly it saw very little winter driving as my grandmother did not get around well. Therefore it does not have any rot rust through and the undercoat is still in good shape. The tires are in good working driving condition and hold air. The wheels are starting to rust a little on the spokes. I believe these can be cleaned up as well with some elbow grease. Some of the emblems are missing from the wheels as well. The car drives and shifts perfectly. It still has great power and the suspension still has that genuine Cadillac “glide”. All oils changes and other maintenance has been kept on. Recent new battery. It truly is a pleasure to drive. The interior: Car is clean and all buttons switches and knobs work as they should. The cleanliness of this vehicle is impeccable. The carpet is still plush and has very little evidence of wear. The floor mats are also in good shape for their age. There are no cracks in the dash or any other plastic pieces inside. All dash lights and systems works as they should. It also has some real wood on the dash and console that shows no cracks or wear. All interior lights work as they should. Cruise control mirrors and digital dash work perfectly. The handle on the front ashtray also broke. I think it’s in there someplace. None of the ashtrays have been used. Most of the leather is in excellent shape except for: There are small tears in the driver and passenger seats. Some of these are due to my grandmother having difficulty getting in and out. The tear on the rear passenger armrest is the only real blemish I can find in the back. The power seats work perfectly and have several positions for comfort. The trunk area is spotless and the spare tire and tools are all there. The original owner’s manual and the original “Gold Key” cassette tape. Engine area: The engine area is clean with no major signs of leakage from the valve covers etc. It does a small oil leaks from the oil pan gasket. I have a spot on the garage floor about the size of a quarter and that has taken forever to accumulate. Shock towers are perfect and rust free. I have done my best to describe this car. I can’t remember everything so if you have a question or need a picture of something specific I will get that for you. I am in no way trying to misrepresent this car as you can see from my 100% rating. If you need it shipped I will do my best to cooperate with whoever is picking it up. Make this beautiful survivor classic your next “me gift”.J
