Cadillac DeVille 1974 Description
Up for NO RESERVE auction is a custom 1974 Cadillac Coupe Deville. I purchased the car in 2000 from the original owner who always had it garage stored. The Cadillac was factory white and painted Dupont brandywine in 2002. The car runs and drives but was stored covered indoors for the past 10 years. I recently moved and don't have any place for it. I replaced the battery...drained the fluids...and gave it a tune up. I have driven it about 30 miles just to make sure it was road worthy and it seemed fine. I would trailer it if it is going long distance just in case but it totally your call. The caddy is not perfect but it gets looks anywhere it goes. The top was added in 2016 when it was brought out of storage. Power windows...locks...seats...original red leather is in great condition. 53,000 original miles on the 472 V8 motor...solid floors and frame. The car has AC but it would probably need charged. All lights and electronics work as they should. Motor purrs like a kitten but it does have a manifold leak on the passenger side. I have purchased new headers that will come with the car. The paint is not flawless but is easily a daily driver or better. There is some bubbling under the rear quarter windows that can be seen in pictures. The car is solid...no rot anywhere and is accident free Everything was fixed when restored years earlier.Airbag firestone 2600 suspension Front back side to side 10 switch box works as it should.Custom fiberglass 4 12s boxes were made for the trunk, 4 6x9s along the rear deck, 3 amps, 300 amp alternator, 20" kronix insignia wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, faux tan gator top with matching center counsel and nitrogen tanks. (car will be sold with 4 nitrogen tanks total). 2 way Crimestopper alarm remote start...Too much to list. Please just ask.
The bad...Paint is not perfect...if you want a show car again I would have it buffed and touched up under rear windows...Exhaust leak.... and it could use a new set of hood hinges. (I was messing with the air bags when the hood was up one day and it threw the hinges out of wack) the 500lb hood needs to be put down slowly by hand, but still works fineAnd like I said above it just hasn't been driven enough since it was brought out of storage so I would have it towed unless your local.
Call or text with questions 216-832-0435. I have a short video clip of the caddy running that can be sent via text or email.
It is currently covered and has never seen rain or snow since I've owned it. I tried to be as detailed as I could but please ask questions before bidding.
Car will be sold as is with no warranty. Good luck
