Cadillac Fleetwood 1970 Description
1970 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Formal Sedan NO RESERVE AUCTION
Thank you for viewing this listing for my 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Formal Sedan.
A Little History...
The Fleetwood 75 series of Cadillac Limousines were among the most desirable of their day, and were the choice of Hollywood stars and the business elite alike. Unlike the super stretch limos common today, these are a longer wheelbase version of the already imposing sedans. They are designed to carry 3 to 6 passengers in extreme comfort, though often they were used to chauffeur just one person! Now, these are desirable as collectors items, for extremely dramatic custom car statements (just add air ride!) or for a classic addition to an existing or startup limo service.
About This Fleetwood 75
This is a 1970 Fleetwood 75, with little to no rust. It is painted black, and the paint is in very good shape. The interior is black with wood accents, and has the beautiful embroidered cloth seats seen in the Brougham on all 3 rows. One of the more interesting elements of this Formal Sedan, is that while it shares all the other features of its limousine brethren, it does not have the glass partition window behind the driver. The 1970 Fleetwood was also one of the most imposingly styled Cadillacs of all times, with its sharp lines and sleek “long and low” look shared from the Eldorado.
It is equipped with the factory 429ci V8 and 3 speed Turbo-Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission, which runs and drives well. It has been tested on standard roads to verify all gears work properly.
The car had a recent $3000 service at local GM dealer (receipts included). This included rebuilt carburetor, power steering flush, new power steering hoses, new freeze plugs, transmission flush and new fluid, new pinion seal and diff flush. It has power windows (working), power steering (working), power brakes (working), as well as two AC/Heat units with automatic climate control. One for the front, one for the rear. Both of these are untested, please assume they will need some work. This car is a remarkably up-together example of a rare breed of Cadillacs!
Thank you once again for taking the time to look at this listing, I hope you take this opportunity to bid on this beautiful classic that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes!
