Cadillac Eldorado 1958 Description

hello everyone, I have decided after much deliberation to sell my beloved 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz...as most of you know a scant 815 were built in 1958 and this one is body number 34 which was originally sold to Joan Smirnoff of the famous vodka family.

I have owned this beauty for the last 12 years and during my stewardship have made many improvements such as rebuilt the transmission, had a new interior and top put on, new exhaust as of last week, rebuilt the front end, added an electric fuel pump, electronic ignition and added an alternator to make it a driveable classi, all the original parts go with the new owner so it could be put back original if desired.

all the numbers match and the car still retains the original tri-power carburetor set up it left the factory with and the carbs were recently rebuilt and work as they shoul, all this is topped off by the correct 1958 only tri power air cleaner.

the car retains factory undercoating and there is no rust that I can find other than just minor surface rust on a few items underneath.

I also spent the last decade or so chasing down all the rattles and squeaks and repaired them all... this car has none to speak of , it drives as smooth as it did back in 1958.

also there is a cd player concealed in the glove box as well as a 10 disc changer in the trunk and in case you were wondering the factory power antennae still works !!!!!

the paint could use some freshening up as it is an older paint job and has a few chips and some checking on the trunk lid as lacquer tends to do.

when I got this car the odometer read 38k miles and now reads a little over 48 k which I believe to be correct since when we rebuilt the front end it still had factory tie rod ends and the ball joints were still riveted in instead of bolted in like replacements are.

it is a great car and you will love it ! shipping expenses are up to the buyer as is arranging transport, also please do not contact me offering to broker the car for me. car is located in the texas hill country and has clear title
