This is a beautiful, xtremely rare 1942 Cadillac Series 61 sedan in excellent condition inside out. It only has 49K original miles on it. This car was manufactured on November 25th, 941. Less than two weeks before the attack on Pearl Harbor, hich ceased vehicle production until late 1945. This beauty was recently acquired from the previous owner, ho cared for the car for almost 20 years. This is a true survivor and a real piece of American history. It has had only one repaint in its original color of code 1, lack. Even the rib cloth wool interior is original covered in plastic.
They built very few Cadillac's in 1942 and only a fraction, ave ever survived. It runs and drives amazing and has been very well pampered and it shows! This beautiful 1942 Cadillac Series 61 Sedan has been meticulously cared for. This car is an absolute must see in person to believe how beautiful it really is. It has beautiful older paint done in its correct color Black. It has only been paint once and still has its original paint in the door jams and under the hood. The body is solid as a rock and straight as an arrow. All the panel fit is excellent. The chrome and stainless is all original and in excellent condition and shows beautifully.
The original interior is in very nice condition. To preserve the original interior it had custom plastic seat covers. The dash, auges and steering wheel are all in very nice original condition. All the original wood grain garnish moldings are very nice. Inside the trunk is all redone with the correct material and looks beautiful with the correct spare and jack. Everything is in great working order!
Mechanically, he engine and transmission run excellent. This Cadillac drives with no issues at all! The original 346ci V8 motor provides great power to move this little diamond around. Under the hood is all stock, orrect and nicely detailed. All services and regular maintenance have been performed so there will be no surprises! Everything functions and works, s it should. This car truly runs and drives great.
