Cadillac Eldorado 1973 Description

I am a car guy. I love cars and I have owned 50 or so including a Hudson, mperial, incolns, adillac's, ercedes S Class, nd my current car Lexus LS 460L. I am not a dealer, ust owned a bunch of them. None of them have the feel of this Eldorado. With the large hood and the great stance it feels like you own the road cruising in it.

This amazing condition 1973 Cadillac Eldorado has been garaged since new.

Paint, hrome, eather are in great condition. Only 57,000 miles.

The folks I got it from, ad a neighbor that bought the car new in 1973. He drove the car until his death in 2007 all the while keeping it in the garage. The neighbor bought the car from the estate and knew the car since new. They drove the car home and had plans to take it to cruise ins. Life got busy and 8 years later they decided to sell that car that was taking up space in their garage.

I bought the car and had it professionally hauled home on a flat bed truck. My mechanic cleaned the carburetor, nd the points and put fresh gas in it. It started right up and runs and drives awesome.

You can tell the car has low miles and was garaged because the dash is in perfect condition with no sun baked cracks like they all have. The leather is very supple for its age. Gas and brake pedals have very little wear.

The car does need a few things before its taken for serious cruising. The tires have good tread but are old andshould be replaced. The actuator on the passenger side is stuck and wont let the door unlock and open. The former owner sadly stored cardboard boxes occasionally on the trunk and has worn the paint. There is some bubbling under the vinyl top to the left of the rear window like all of these have. It is cold blooded when first started.

I tired hard to check out all the functions. Light, urn signals, eater all work as they should. Electric seat, nd windows work (could use some lube after setting so long) I didn't find anything that didn't work.

The chrome and paint it in great condition. I looked to see if I could find any paint work done on the car. I couldn't find any indication of any done (not a body man … just looked for over spray etc) The drivers door is missing the molding. It has fine pin striping that looks good.
