Chevrolet Camaro 1967 Description

1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS 396 - SURVIVOR!!!
What we have here is a 49 year old #'s matching, well documented '67 Camaro RS/SS 396, a car that includes its original wheels, original paint (mostly), original spare tire, and a great and well documented owner history.
This particular car was born and raised on the west coast and still has in its possession the original owner’s BLACK PLATES! We all desire to have one of the “California Black Plate Cars” – well here’s your chance. This car has been lovingly cared for its entire life. She made it to the east coast a few years ago and has been living that same pampered life in CT and then when its owner moved to SC. It’s time for the next curator to do his job preserving it.
Some highlights:
#’s matching SS396 (L35 325hp) (never taken out of the car or even painted!)
#’s matching Turbo 400 3-spd automatic transmission
#’s matching 12-bolt rear end
75% original Bolero Red Lacquer paint, replaced vinyl top at 40k miles.
All original chrome and stainless, original spare tire, original rally wheels included (including the lug nuts!).
Originally sold at Harry Mann Chevrolet in Inglewood CA.We have an Oil change sticker indicating 14,682 miles on 6-27-74.We have the name of who may be the original owner.Second owner purchased in 1980 with 32,000 miles from the estate of the first owner.Still have the open pink slip and 14 former California registrations. The vinyl top was replaced at 40,000 miles. The Turbo400 transmission and converter rebuilt at 41,000 miles. The original radiator rebuilt at 43,500 miles.
The current owner purchased the car from an ad in Hemmings in 1992 with only 46,800 miles. He added a Gardner exhaust system back in 1999. It was personally inspected by one of the leaders of the Camaro Research Group and in their data base since 1999. The Camaro now has 50,380 miles on it.
We believe this to be a very original Big Block car, down to the paint, interior, trunk and drive train. We also have the NCRS shipping document.
Here are a few more technical tidbits:
Rebuilt RS headlight motors - only had to replace one of them. They both come with the car. Diamond Back redline radials mounted on custom offset Torque Thrust II's 15" wheels with desirable chrome centers on polished rims
NOS gas cap, the original in the NOS box and comes with the car.
Repro interior rear view mirror. The original delaminated but in a box comes with car.All gauges work and are accurate.
Covercraft $300 car cover - in Red like the Camaro.
All maintenance and purchase receipts since we've owned the car.
Make us a reasonable offer and you'll OWN this great BIG BLOCK CAMARO!!
If you drive it, you WILL PROBABLY buy it...
