Chevrolet Suburban 1950 Description

I spent the last 15 years working on this truck and never planned to sell it buta move for a job forces its sale. I have receipts for over $15000 I will include with the truck. It has a clean 1950 Carryall Colorado Title and was registered until last year. No detail was overlooked but I never got around to finishing it. It would require minimal bodywork for paint or could be left in primer. It has never been stored overnight out doors or driven in the rain but has epoxy primer which seals the metal from rust. I will answer any questions and am willing to ship if the buyer pays for shipping. I will include all receipts and photos of the build. If you want any build photos email me and I will reply with them. This was frame off and every part was sand blasted inside and out.

Body is still in primer frame is painted with Black PPG Rear inner fenders are 72 chevy truck allowing for wider tires on the rear.

Custom Mods: Gas filler in rear Fender, renched tunneled headlights, arrowed pulled in bumpers, ton truck fenders inner fenders hood and grill. These are four inches wider and much longerthan the stock components. ½ ton wheel openings were welded into the fenders. Hood has been smoothed and filled but has a crack that needs filled . Radio chassis installed behind the speaker grill and opens likeglove box. Firewall and inner fenders are smoothed and filled. I also have a visor that fits this truck. Side door handles and all badges are shaved and holes welded up.

Glass: New green laminate windshield. New grey laminate in all side windows. All new seals for doors and windows are included.

Incomplete

The truck needs final assembly. It runs and drives but could use the radiator boiled or replaced with a newer cross flow radiator. The gas tank has been removed to prevent the gas from going bad during storage. I have a temp gas can hooked up so you can hear it run. Front seats are installed but rear is empty and still has the factory plastic over plywood floor. It is solid and usable. Custom power windows were built but need final installation. Wiring harness was taken from a Camaro but should be replaced with an aftermarket harness. Running boards have not been restored but are included including an extra set that was being smoothed. The truck has no windshield wiper motor. Factory speedo included but not hooked up. Door glass and power window motors are not installed. If you wanted to swap to factory regulators to speed things up the holes are still there. There is a four channel remote set I had planned to use for door poppers. One door has a Subaru latch installed partially the other is stock. I will include the parts to convert the other door to matching latch. Factory deluxe heater is included but not assembled.

I will be around to show that Truck starting on the 20th of November and the truck needs to be removed by the 26th of November. Email me to make an appointment. If you use the buy it now option I will fly back any weekend between now and the end of the year to meet you or a rigger to load the truck. I will hook up the gas tank or a temporary tank and get the truck running so it can drive onto a flatbed.

Update: I have had a lot of questions about shipping. If the buyer can't have the truck picked up by 11/26/15 I will fly back to Denver any weekend between now and the end of the year to meet a truck and assist in the loading but the buyer will pay $350 on top of the auction price to cover storage and my return flight. I can not store the truck past the end of the year.
