Chevrolet Nova 1972 Description

Up for sale is a 1972 Nova SS L78 tribute with a factory Skyroof.
This Nova was disassembled to the body shell, the original floors were stripped on both sides as well as the trunk, then coated with por-15 and topped with chassis black. the subframe was removed as well and all suspension parts to be reused were sandblasted and painted with por-15 and coated with chassis black.
All suspension wear parts have been replaced with new. The floors were covered with hushmat sound deadender. The Skyroof was a rare option for the Nova and was only offered in 1972 and 73, there were only about 6000 of them made in 72. I have a new in the box, top for the Skyroof, some of the rivets came loose in the top but all the parts are there and in good shape.
The interior was removed, the seats stripped down to the frames and sandblasted, coated with por-15 and topped with chassis black, new front and rear seat foam was installed on cushions and backs, new upholstery on both front and rear. the carpet was replaced at one time and is in fair condition. The paint is an older paint job in Black Cherry that shines pretty good but has a few flaws, chips, scratches etc. there is also an issue with the drivers door gap that I never got around to fixing, but it opens and closes fine. Rear quarters were replaced at one time. there is no rust anywhere on this car.
New front rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder, brake booster, New rear disc brakes and rotors. new fuel tank and sender. New old stock Kraco fm radio, cheap speakers. The car is badged as a 396 with an L78 themed engine bay. the Motor is a rebuilt stock mid 70s 454 with a mild cam. It has the high flowing 781 oval port heads. Edelbrock performer intake, Holley 750 carb, New Hooker 2" ceramic coated headers, pypes 3" exhaust and X-pipe, Flowmaster 50s. TCI Th400 transmission with a TCI Breakaway converter, B&M Mega shifter. Aftermarket Tack auxiliary gauges.
New Weld RTS wheels 15x4 front and 15x10 rear. New Mickey Thompson 26x6 Sportsman front radial tires and 325/50/15 ET Street radial rears. 3 inch wheel studs. In order to fit the tires under the rear I had it professionally mini-tubbed with DSE mini-tubs. and DSE frame connectors. It has a narrowed 9 inch ford rear end with a New Detroit Locker and 3.70 gear, The center section is all new with nodular case, forged yoke and bearing caps, 31 spline axles, ford rear disc brakes drilled for chevy bolt pattern. QA1 adjustable coilovers, Chassis works ladder bars with poly bushings. The car can easily be converter back to a leaf spring car if you wanted to, I have the 5 leaf springs, spring pockets and shackles for it. Car was an original 350 v8 non SS car.
I know I'm forgetting some things so if you have any questions just ask, Id be happy to answer.
