1981 chevy 4x4 dully truck. originally had the V8 diesel. was replaced with 1992 1st gen 12 valve cummins engine with a NEW VE pump. engine is perfect and needs nothing. Trans is manual NV 4500 manual 5 spd trans.K30 Truck has 456 gears.New clutch and through out bearing when swap was done..5 inch exhuast . Truck starts easy and runs perfect.. Best of both worlds..Chevy, cheap and easy to find parts and with the Bullet proof 1st gen Cummins 5.9 12 valve cummins.Tires hold air, but will need replaced, they show to be weathered on side walls.Truck just had12 valve 5.9 cummins- - 2200.00New clutch and pressure plate through out bearing -- 495.00New injection Pump on 12 valve diesel engine --- 1200.00NV4500 easy shift 5 spd trans --- 1600.00
Body is good and fairly straight. Some small dings, no large cave in dents, floor pans are good. Truck is over 35 years old and expect it not to be perfect. . Would make a great daily driver with new tires, or a good restore project. Need paint job. Feel free to come see it in person and test drive it. Will need set of tires.

Good daily driver like it is, with new tires. Body on scale 1 to 10 is 7 1/2.No major rust. No major dents, some small dings.Truck originally has chevy V8 diese, so already had stock diesel fuel tank system, and the heavy duty front springs to handle cummins diesel well.5.9 cummins has the Simple VE injection pump, which is better for quick starts and better MPG.injection pump is NEW.Brakes on truck are good, and front end and all gear boxes tight. Suspension is stock K30. Body is lifted 4 inches. New battery.
