Here we have a stunning 1960 Chevrolet 2dr Sports Coupe that has been meticulously restored into one beautiful classic. The project began with a rust free car that was as solid as they come, ot a junk yard car. All body alignment and seams are perfect and all doors, ood, nd trunk lid are tight and secure, xcellent fit and finish. The show quality two stage black paint looks a foot deep with a brilliant shine to it and really shows off the arrow straight body. All chrome and stainless show excellent along with all glass and weather stripping. The complete interior is all new and looks amazing. The dash has been finished in a satin black with all new gauges and bright work. A new classic audio stereo has also been installed. The new black and white houndstooth seats have been covered in clear plastic to keep them in "new" condition for a long time but can easily be removed if desired. The drive train for this 60 Impala consist of the big block 348 topped with tri-power carbs and backed by a 4 speed manual transmission. The 348 has been completely rebuilt and performs like new. The engine starts right up first bump of the starter and has a super smooth and quiet idle to it, ne of the smoothest running 348's I have ever seen. The transmission shifts perfectly with no issues, ight clutch and no slop, ust how it should be. The car is also equipped with factory power steering and power brakes and rides on a new set of wide white radials. The 60 handles the road like a dream, ery smooth, ound, nd dependable, n absolute thrill to drive. Show it or drive it, his black beauty is up for the task. She's ready to go...........
