Chevrolet C-10 1968 Description

This C-20 is Special
Amazing Survivor!
Completely Original Body!
Everything Works!
Here is what everyone is searching for, high and low; an all original chassis, with absolutely ZERO rust. That means none. That means it never had it. Not in the roof drip rail, not the cowel, nor the door bottoms, not the door sills, nor the fender wells, not the cab corners, not the cab supports. Zip.
.
There has never been any body work to this truck, and it is as straight as an arrow The original paint & patina testify to the uncanny condition of the body of this truck. Anyone who has ever looked around for a rust free Glamour Era Chevy knows that these are virtually impossible to find. Your quest is over. Snap this up, before someone else gets one of the most gloriously original 1967-72 trucks that will come up for sale this year.
The vehicle has had just two owners, with the most recent finally letting it go after 32 years of prideful ownership.
All the glass is great; no cracks. It has new tires with less than 1,000 miles on them. There is a brand new, 4-barrel Edelbrock carburator, just installed. Every light works, inside and out. The floor covering is black, rubberized matting.
The engine is a crate 350, that the owner had put in some 25 years ago, to replace the factory IL-6. The transmission is a 4-speed manual on the floor, with granny gear. The seat needs redone. The door panels are excellent. I am putting on new dash pad. All the door rubber is surprisingly good! There is just not a whole lot to comment on this truck. It is that special.
The original wood bed must be replaced, but the box is very straight. The brakes are weak, which I'm sorting. The carb needs balancing to resolve a stall at warm idle (might be vacuum advance?). There is one minor, minor scuff (8") at the very bottom of the driver's front fender, which I challenge you to locate.
Buy-It-Now price still allows you dealers to make a profit, selling it on. Its an absolute steal for anyone doing a restoration.
