Chevrolet Other Pickups 1959 Description

Someone is going home with a cool piece of American History. This 1959 Chevy Viking was bought new for the Howard Hughes Aviation fleet in 1959 in Culver City, A. It was then moved to the Utah base where Hughes had another aviation fleet. The truck sold to its second owner in South Dakota who used it to haul misc lumber to and from a home he was building. I purchased the truck just less than 2 years ago. I have had everything gone through on the truck mechanically and everything is in tip top working condition except for the hydraulic lift gate, hich actually works but leaks fluid and could probably use new hoses. I have not had the hydraulic hose fixed as I did not have any use for it.
Everyone wants to know why I am selling it... Simply because it rarely gets driven and I don't want to let it sit all winter. Someone deserves to use this thing.
